In 2018, I was part of the official photography team at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells. During one of the press conferences, I asked Roger something I’d wanted to know for a long time: Where do you get your self-belief from, and what do you want kids and young adults to learn from your story?

To put this into context, consider this:

He broke the grand slam record at Wimbledon in 2009, with 15 grand slams. At the time, Djokovic had one slam, and Nadal had 6. What motivated him to go on for another 12 years?
